Template configurationEvery aqua project implements a template which defines the configuration of the project. By editing the template, you can customize the layout and the dialog fields for the following elements: defects, requirements, test cases, test scenarios and scripts. There are two types of fields - predefined fields and custom fields. Predefined fields are configured by default and only their values can be changed by aqua users. Custom fields can be added when additional fields are required for an individual configuration.
Configuration of Custom FieldsSelect your project in the project browser and click File. There you select Project configuration (template).
![]() A list with all fields of an element will open. In the bar on the bottom you can choose, for which element type you want to edit fields.
![]() If you select one field from the list, you can change the setting, e.g. Field name or Field type.
![]() In order to add a new field, click on the 'Add custom field' button in the ribbon. You can then select the field type. You can choose between the following types:
